Ideal Start Dates - JMT

I decided to make a new post to call attention to this issue. What are people's preferences for leaving home for this trip? I get to list possible start dates for entry into whitney portal, which will affect when we leave. Our options are anytime the 5th of July and on, that day is less preferable because of inevitable hangovers after a raucous 4th celebration. Let me know soon, because the lottery opens on Feb. 1st and i want to get it in pronto.

THE JOHN MUIR TRAIL

So. The JMT. Me and Chris nerded out on this pretty hard a few days ago and I want to keep that momentum. And have this set by April so we can start planning other things as well.

1) So who would be intereted in hiking the John Muir Trail this summer?
2) If you answered yes, then what dates work best or what dates wouldn't work at all?

I am going to try to squeeze a WFR in one either end of this trip. I would also be down for company.

Martin luther king weekend

Just seeing if you guys are still coming up next weekend. If you guys are interested we could go frozen water fall climbing from the 15th to the 18th for 215$. If not, theyre doing a trip in February that I could get in on so no biggie if we don't go. We could also go skiing if you guys wanted to. Just checking in. Also, is alex coming up?

PS I have a dentist appointment on the island on Tuesday the 19th and was wondering if I could catch a ride down with you guys...
