CHRIS MIKAIL --YOU MAY WANT TO CHECK THIS!

TWO THINGS:

1st. is Dailyhiker mikail this website seems to be really hitting what you have been talking about!

2nd. is a bad ass company called Klymit

with that said now click here to see their core product--they're working on full jackets too!

then check out their website http://www.klymit.com/index.php/

I think there is obvious overlap with the direction Nemo has gone with the innovative concept Klymit is pushing
chris you should get the family company to invest with this and merge it with NEMO!

The Klymit technology looks pretty cool, but also super gimmicky. The argon insulation makes sense, but a three pack of "quick shots" is 24$, and they're pretty necessary. And if you just use the dry air pump there's no advantage over a traditional synthetic or down puff vest.

exactly--the technology is in the right direction BUT it needs the charachter of NEMO

I just finished a math test, and am still sitting in class looking at this. I pulled up the dailyhiker and my teacher immediately asked me why I looked so sad. They have pulled off essentially exactly what I've been working on/ wanting to do. Fuck.

Just spent some more time checking out the site--we could do waaay better than them its impressive to see that they have the site up and moving but i already see things that we could do better--don't let this get you don't we could easily destroy this--

YOU THINK YOUR A GEAR JUNKIE:

check out this battle between the owner of Dailyhiker and a Mountaintech

http://www.dailyhiker.com/gear/gore-tex-vs-outdry-the-water-test/

a mountain tech is:The mountaintech project was something started several years ago as a group of private individuals that works with Gore to do product testing, market research, focus research, ect… It’s a pool of outdoor enthusiats that Gore can interact with to get feedback on product development and the like. We get to test out some pretty incredible products and they get feedback on how to make those products better.
