This is what I think about during class...
Chris, if you think it would be easy enough you should aquire some climbing hammocks. If we had three or more climbing hammocks you dante and I (or more if we had more hammocks) could go half way up a 200ft double pitch climb that overlooks pristine forest, the ocean, and the sunset. We could eat camp/hammock and then finish the climb in the morning. Oh, and we would have a pleasant 2 mile hike to even get to the wall.

im down, lets make it happen,do we need climbing hammocks per se? or will our camping ones suffice?
as there is no ledge we could just camp out at the bottom or top of the cliff with conventional tents. however I think it would be totally "boss" to to sleep 100 feet in the air. I was doing research on climbing hammock costs and there fairly cheap, if free.99 is not feasible I am definitely considering buying one...
oh and I withdrew a hundred bucks for dante to bring down but I forgot to give it to him. if there isnt any urgency ill just get it to you the next opportunity...
thats fine i'm not hurting for it. do wee need climbing hammocks specifically, i bet we could rig up a good system with what we have. is what you're thinking of more along the line of little hanging platforms that you sleep on? you should send me a link to what you're thinking of.
fuck, i did some more thourough research and found out that "portaledges" as they're called(not climbing hammocks) are actually quite expensive supposing they couldnt be stolen. Here are some informative/inspiring sites....

What sort of system were you thinking of?
i was thinking of finding a spot that would be entirely overhanging, building two anchors and attaching them to the ends of a typical hammock.

A splendid idea.. I think I even know the perfect spot! I am so freaking stoked to do this, all we have to do now is find a weekend when none of us are busy and the weather is nice(relitivly).
which could potentially be difficult... this coming is no good for me, i need to be working, and i am thinking of being in portland for the following one, but that is subject to change.
If worse comes to worst we do this spring sometime, itll be something to look forward to. Otherwise just let me know when you guys are free and well see what we can cook up
not to mention that to get three of us dangling in the air for a night would require mutliple points adequate for hammocks...but i'm game
