Matt porn

So me and dante were talking about merits of cross fit vs more conventional training and dante cited matts body, specifically upper body, as a reason why crossfit is better. He mentioned that it has a very unique build. Needless to say I find it hard to believe that your physique using crossfit could be any more spectacular than it was previosly. please post a photo (pants optional)

I don't have any pre-crossfit pictures, but I can attest to the fact that it has enhanced my build a little. Mainly i leaned out, and a lot of that was due to diet, but full-on crossfit is certainly more effective (especially for beginning lifters) than standard bodybuilding routines for muscle gain. The bodybuilding protocol is designed to be used with anabolic steroids, and while there are methodologies that are effective without them, to make solid gains you have to be VERY strict about your diet and eat a TON of food. With cross fit you can be a little looser about the diet, and you lean out while you put on mass.

Not to mention you get fitter. Which should be an argument in and of itself, but if you want proof, the cast of 300, as we all know, when through a specialized training program with Mark Twight, a former CrossFit coach and affiliate owner. Their training consisted of highly functional movements performed at high intensity, which is crossfit's prescription for fitness. Twight even said that they trained them with performance in mind first, and that form would follow. It's hard to put in the time that they did (five hours-ish per day, if i remember) and have the same level of dietary control (everything was weighed, measured, and cooked for them), but they achieved a) a great level of fitness and b) (more importantly) super-chiseled bodies in TWO MONTHS. Which is insane. I can attest that I saw more results in two months of crossfit than i did in two years of bodybuilding style workouts. Do you actually want a photo?
